Love Plans For Us

You say you're taking a break from love.

I disagree.

Nobody takes a break because love can come at any time.

Hell my dad stole my mom's heart away from another man,

As did my friends mom.

They had plans of marriage and threw it all away on a second glance

In the direction of someone they knew they would spend their lives with.

You cannot sit at your computer telling me you've taken a break

When as soon as you walk me to my car next week,

You'll kiss me goodnight.

No one plans who they're attracted to,

People look for love everyday.

Because there's something in us,

Telling us we have to find that person who we can love no matter what.

Take a chance,

Don't wait,

Because by next week I could be over this border line friendship/relationship

And trying to find that person I could give my heart to.
