He is a journey I never got to experience.

He is a world I never sought out to venture.

He is a memory I will always relive.

He is a regret.

This falls in with the should haves, would haves and could haves. How many times do we have regrets because we didn't make that move or take the first step. Wow! Really sorrowful and yet sweet. It seems to play off of the 'I want to get to know someone, and yet I missed the chance.' Or is it, you got to know someone and it ended not well. I love the simplistic yet powerful words you used. Nice job!

Definitely the first one. It was someone I knew as an acquaintance and never dared get to know as more, and missed my chance in the worst way. But thank you!
