A Poem by Wycked
"

A Reflection on Human Frailty

"

Secrets can not be hidden
Souls are laid bare
No voice to reveal
Lives that were once there

Memories fade in an instance
One breath in time
Ever watching and waiting
For that end of the line

Struggling with the knowledge
Frailty that cannot be undone
Never ending succession
With no means to be won

Acceptance the only key
To keep the sanity of the mind
Each in their own way
Deciding what is divine

Time the silent killer
Its calculation no one knows
Patient and never ending
One final last rose

Fading in, Fading out
Waiting for the last breath
Sands dropping, then dripping
Ushering all unto death
