Morning Star

Morning Star

A Poem by [email protected]

Dear angel of darkness
I see through your garnish
The power you harness
Was slandered and tarnished
I'll dig through your layers
I'll rub til you shine
I'll love like a madman
Until you are mine
There are nights of obsession
Large chunks of time
Moments of madness
Dreams where I pine
For your arms around me
For your nails digging inside
For your eyes upon me
Revealing secrets I hide
Just say that you love me
And you'll be my guide
To a cemetery where
My hate goes to die

I like this image of love power that kills any trace of hate which can make an angel of darkness into one of light… there’s no greater force than love

Who says the darkness went away? It's part of the beauty.

True, there’s always some darkness, then how would be light without it?
