Umbra

Can you hear me howl in the distance?
Did it quicken your heart's pace?
Do you shiver from the coldness
When you're in a lonely place?
Do you give in to the madness
When I whisper in your ear?
Do you feel the draft around you
Drying every tear?
When the light of day gets harsh
I'll see you through
Whenever things go dark
I'll be there to shadow you
