Don’t give me that damn fake smile of yours

I know it’s not real

Don’t give me that damn look of yours

Pity you can’t even feel

 

If someone asked what I hated the most

Hypocrisy would be it

I hate how fake everyone looks

Hate how everyone makes a fit

 

Don’t give me that damn, sickening voice

Like you’re actually sad

Don’t give me that damn “tsk tsk” of yours

Like you’re actually mad

 

If you really wanted to make me happy

Stop with all the hypocrisy

I know you don’t mean a damn thing you do

Don’t think that I’m blind, I can see

 

Don’t act like you’re okay with that

I know you hate me too

Don’t act like you actually like my boyfriend

Because I know he doesn’t like you

 

Why don’t you just tell me

Straight up how you really feel

It would make things a lot easier

And a lot more real

 

Because I’m tired of feeling

Like everything’s just plastic

I hate how everyone just fakes emotions

Love, hope, even being ecstatic

 

I hate how this world is full of lies

Full of hypocrisy

Full of crap

And hell, go ahead and hate me

 

Because it’d be nice for once

To have someone genuinely glare at me

Instead of giving me that smile

And staring daggers at my back that I can still see

 

Stop it with all the hypocrisy
