Daisy

Daisy

A Poem by Ziara

Childrens poem

"
Daisy
Lazy, daisy
Sometimes crazy
our big fat cat,
with a funny looking hat
taking her time, to meow and whine
lazing around on our chairs
all the time.
lazy, daisy
Sometimes crazy
jumping out of windows
way to high, landing on
her feet all the time,
Big and fat
she still chases the rat
Lazy Daisy
Sometimes crazy
takes her time to come
and cuddle, sometimes
with the kids,a struggle,
Lazy Daisy
Disappears to have her
babies, underneath the house
we find, a bunch of tigers
having a whine,
cute and fluffy
little bundles, under daisy
who looks real crazy
comes and says,
MEOW

Sweet! And the reading was a real fun. It's good that lazy Daisy still chases the rat! :)
Nice work.

What a cute and fun write. I like the lyrical nature of the piece, and the meter and rhythm was actually rather well done. I think that the best writing comes from what we see every day; what we experience in our own "realities".

Technical note:
2nd stanza 4th line: "way (too) high..."
Last stanza 7th line: capitalize "Daisy"

Overall, this is quite a nice little poem. I like the imagery and the way that you worked the wording.
