I Miss You

Staring out my window,
all I can think about is you.
Even with the sun shinning bright,
all I can see is your face,
in the never ending darkness.

Before I can stop myself, I'm crying once again.

I try to close my eyes,
but the tears are already trickling down my cheek.
I try to turn away,
but you're always still there.

I know what you would say;
You would tell me not to worry,
You would say that you're in heaven.

And though I know that it's true,
it still doesn't stop me from missing you.


I see you with every step I take,
I hear you every time I try to turn away,
I needed you ever since we first met,
I still love you, though you're not here with me.

You told me you don't like to see me cry...,
but what else am I supposed to do?

You took away my heart,
you stole my reason for living.
You took them with you when you passed on,
and now I'm left with nothing but your memory,
nothing but the pain...

I still wish you were here,
to hold me and say that you're ok,
but I know that you're still in pain...

I know you never meant to leave me...
I know you still love me

I just miss you...
