The Mark of Your Touch still Burns

The Mark of Your Touch still Burns

A Poem by Anonymous/Anjaan ( Yash V.)
"

Idol.........

"
The Mark of Your Touch still Burns

Here I am surrounded
by millions.
Wanting to have a glimpse
of me.
Starving to meet me.
I see pride in my eyes.

But in my heart
I still feel like
the child who
ages ago got scolded
by his master.

Whose master was wide-known
living life the fullest.
Wanting his pupils to achieve the same.
The pride he had
the walk he walked.
i walked the same street
emerged from the same shadows
and dispersed into the same world.

And now here I am
being just the wax
of my master
the soul
whose touch gave me this mark
in my heart
filled with pride.
I want to say just one thing.
(And I know you are looking at me
wiping your sweat
and jaw dropping on your student)
THE MARK OF YOUR TOUCH STILL BURNS
