The ill girl

The ill girl

A Story by Yaren

Hello. Can I introduce myself?
I am Liza, a young fifteen-year old girl.
I have cancer, leukaemia. That was exposed when I was twelve.
My life changed radical. Before those twelve years I didn't even know what would expect me in this life. Anyway...my parents always told me how gladly I danced and sang as I was in the age of nearly ten. I also took singing lessons with my teacher K.Rosie. I loved her, she was the best teacher...apropos teacher my mom is a teacher too! She taught me how to dance ballet. I did that since  I was eleven. My cousin, which one is one year elther than me, did sports, she always had to cross barriers and I always watched her...  I was so inspired by her talent so I decided to try that too. I began with eleven years and every sunday she gave me lessons...but then it became exhausting for me. I had problems. One year later the diagnosis cancer, leukaemia destroyed my entire life ... I don't know what that is but my dad always bought me my favourite donuts...everytime! And my mom said: 'it's just a grip, Liza' But what's going on now?!  I don't know what happened....
Agonizingly hours in the hospital and then passing away? Game over?  Was that my life?
Wow. My ash is  actually swimming somewhere in the ocean....

A sad story. Cancer killed with no concern for age or place. I like how you gave the girl life and dreams. The family, the dance lesson and her death. A strong story. You could make longer if you wanted. Add the where, who, why, when and how. The story was complete. Thank you for sharing the excellent story. Good to meet you. I lived three years in Southern Germany. To be able to read so many languages give you opportunity to read great books.

Nice and sad story. But what it counts is the wish to live.
