Is that you stealing her loneliness
crashing into that space
have you forgotten what was said
or will you continue to thief the time

Is it you that broke him down
always tasting the fear
never quite seeing the truth behind his eyes
forever sideways & lost

It's a wonder why it keeps to the heart
for the answer is always known too soon
and your back turned to ignore the trouble
your other person continues to hate yourself
but in the silence the words are gone
withered & displaced like the past

Is It us that chooses not to grow
not to forgive
or do we stay content
live with the fact
that everything is the same
written to continue as it was yesterday...........
