Weather's Emotions

Weather's Emotions

A Story by Scooter
"

My least favorite of the poetry assignments. The sonnet.

"

Rain pounds a drumming, angry, heavy beat,

the sky echoes loud with lots of thunder.

Will flames spring up if the sky and earth meet?

This is something I can't help but wonder.

Bites are hot as it causes destruction.

It destroys all 'round it with hungry flames.

Tears from volcanoes during eruptions.

Water fights fire's heat, leaving through remains.

Calm water sways into its tides slowly,

destroying the flames, sometimes rough or not.

Water creates thoughts that are so lonely,

the water is freezing and rarely hot.

Elements are there and can cause great fear.

Elements are there and are always near.

Author's Note

Scooter
I had a lot of issues with rhyming and the syllable count. That's why it sounds so awkward in some places. Okay, that's why it sounds awkward in a LOT of places.

About
Hey. I'm Scooter and I was completely right in my assumption.... My motivation AND inspiration were all trapped in school. I guess I'll be writing more, again. Anyway, I probably won't be putting .. more..
