"Reprise"

A Poem by Zack Burton
"

Poem #26. Uploaded Monday November 22, 9:14 PM.

"
Reprise
Rolling back
Remember the past
Belittle the last
Sodom
Gomorrah
Monday morning
New York City
From out the din
A roving blast
A shameless sonic
A creaking mast
The shifting shipmate
Mutiny
The executives
The businessmen
Surround the desk
Execute
Stay upright
My friendly foes
Without this
We'll have no woes
Reprise
Run from the lights
Run from your peril
Wait for the whites

Interesting piece...sharp rhythm. Comment on the battles of Wall Street perhaps? Everyone out for themselves when the stock markets crash...That's what I saw in this.
Good job.
