"Infantile murder-bug"

A Poem by Zack Burton
"

Poem #31. Uploaded Thursday November 25, 5:11 PM. From "Poetry Collection 1."

"
Infantile murder-bug
Sat beyond the veil
With infantile carelessness
He sent them all to hell
A rosy-reddish goiter
Put all his plans on hold
His sour flame ejaculate
At once became so cold
Without a lone believer
He could not make a deal
He could not save his soul from him
His wounds would never heal
So infantile murder-bug
His flame eternal squashed
Left for wondering hearts beyond
And happy souls unwashed

Another wonderful metric poem. I am a big fan of rhyme-and-meter, and while most poets are shunning structure for free verse (which is fine), I am thrilled to have found a fellow male teenager with such talent in the poetic field. (I'm not suggesting I have "such talent," but rather expressing my delight with yours.)

your poetry is definitely to be read aloud for the perfect cadence and meter~ it is a pleasure to read you~
