One of my older poems when I was deeply in love with a nice girl.

Such a peculiar creature you are
Obviously obvious and wonderfully graceful
Maybe baby we can make history

Love is as cruel as nuclear bomb
Lust is loveless…but love is lust-less
Thank you for making me so true
And let the evil world know this:

I’ll fight for you
Oh believe this is true
I f*****g love you
And no one will take you away
Not tomorrow and not today
It’s up to you to stay
Would you fight for me?

My pulse is faltering, I’m fighting too much
But don’t worry, there’s no way in hell I’ll give up
You and I are made of the perfectly right stuff
We’ll attack each other till we’re dead and call it love

Hate me…please no
Is it gone? No no no…

I do like your word play~ the flip overs
such as

Lust is loveless…but love is lust-less

are obviously well thought out and placed in perfect alignment to elicit an immediate response from the reader~

has the rich flavors of a song that would do well also wrapped in music~
