Autumn encounter

Autumn encounter

A Poem by Zee Langa
"

When you find that blossoming love.

"
Walking through the park of life;
Why am I so depressed like this?
Is it because of the season I'm at?
Look at the leaves also expressing their mood in colour.
Do they feel the same way as I'm feeling right now?

I seat on the bench and drown myself in thought.
All I see is a life filled with winter.
When are you coming to my life spring?
When will my life blossom like others around me?
A green leaf lands on my face.

I open my thoughts and see you seating next to me.
I look to your side and spring is all I can see on your gorgeous face.
So radiant and yet so normal.
You smile at me as I smile at you.
And all of a sudden green leaves start falling around us like August.
What an autumn encounter but yet feels like spring.
