NeverA Poem by E.A. HamiltonFeelings can hit you like a ton of bricks, so I wrote some of them down.
Your eyes, blue as the sea, look straight through me.
Your laugh, fills my ears but I never hear it. Your smile, lights the room but I am still in darkness. Your voice, is a rich as chocolate but I don't get to taste it. Your hair, as fine as silk never to grace my fingertips. Your hands so strong and steady, will never hold me. Your hight, that block the sun will never stop the harsh light from my eyes. Your concentration, will never solve my problems. My eyes, green and dull will never meet yours. My laugh, will never be heard by you. My smile, will never to be seen because I am in darkness. My voice, weak and lost, will never fined your ears. My hair, dry as straw, will never grow as lushes. My hands, uncontrolled and shaking, will never be strong. My hight, will never block the sun from your eyes. My concentration, will never return to solve your worries. We walk the same road, yet we never meet. We end at the same place, yet we never greet. We go day by day, side by side, yet we will never speak.
