She Cries

Cool tears cascading hot cheeks

Each a beacon of light

Each a book with a story within

This one is for the boy she loved

This for the friends who mocked her

Another for her favorite song

One for the sake of crying

Stress is like blood pumping through her veins

The corners of her mind are dark and cold

Spider's webs distort her vision

The clouds are always dark in her sky

She can't even see the sun where is shines

Feathers falling caress her soft skin

She doesn't notice

She only cries for love

For life and death

For things that are and aren't

For real and fake alike

"Hello dear" feels like a lashing

And she feels her heart die

Some days we all feel like this girl

And just want to cry

But I am strong

I want to help her before she breaks

I reach out and catch her crystal tears

She doesn't notice me

She keeps on crying

Your writing vividly portrays the seeming insurmountable barrage of life in general and the feelings of sadness and depression whose effect we've all felt as a result. Its hard when life seems so overwhelming that sometimes you do not notice anything around you, even close friends. Sometimes I feel that way with problems with work, relationships, or just life in general getting me down. Its good that your friend has someone like you who wants to help them. Sometimes you can't actively help them, but you can be there when they need you most.

other then that, this is beautifully done, and true for all tears, or just for that one momment when we do decide to cry, cause each tear has a meaning and i love that u put that in there. Im srry to hear that you an ur friend been having hard times, peace and love to u my friend
