"Everyone dreams of changing humanity, but no one thinks of changing themselves. There is no evidence that the goals toward which mankind is striving are freedom, equality, evolution or civilization. The two most powerful warriors are patience and time" by Leon Tolstoy, War and Peace (1869).

"To imagine a man deprived of freedom is to imagine him deprived of life." by Leon Tolstoy, War and Peace (1869)

Bombs falling on heads falling.

Like black rain falling,

Between smoke and black clouds.

Don't see the children, disabled and mothers crushed.

Under the weight of a pharaoh and the injustice of a tyrant.

They said: they attacked and colonized us out of injustice and revenge.

They said: "This is terrorism in our own backyard of precious Israelites taken hostage".

They said, "Palestinian children are animals in their own backyard."

Palestinian children who have forgotten their homeland and their dead.

Have opened their eyes to the flag of Israel: their homeland.

Where is the escape?  Where is freedom? Where is the truth?

Truth is lost between history, rights and the dead.

Some chant the banner of peace,

Others, the banner of vengeance and resistance.

Countries conspire and call for humanity and destruction.

Between allies, opponents and the silent, humanity resigns.

Around Jerusalem, religions gather and disperse.

A zone ablaze to the south, north, east and west.

Where there's escape between land and sea, there's anguish.

Migrants move to the survival zone.

Countries that ignore homeless children, martyrs and widows.

And the eternal consequence of a loser-loser war.

Where is the escape? Where is peace? And where is the justice?

The oppressor becomes the just, and the oppressed becomes the oppressor.

Between the true landowner and the colonial landowner.

A tunnel under international and humanitarian supervision.

Passage of food, medicine and weapons.

Under the banner of international rights and peace.

Reconstruction, evacuation and construction of another burnt-out area.

Palestine disappears from the geography between buyer and seller.

Those words belong to not only the present but long history - millennia, past. Yet Mankind has still not learned how to be humane
