A Prose On Satisfaction

A Prose On Satisfaction

A Poem by A.r. Bazian

The million things I want...

The million things I need!

More that i let go...

The more my anguish i feed!

All the things I have...

of all that I bleed...

I got most of the things I want,

but nothing I have; I need!

As the others have said this is short, simple and sweet but packs a wonderful punch...we want what we can't have, strive for what we don't need and are never really truly satisfied. Thank you once again for the entertaining yet wonderful read!

This poem is simple, short and very straight forward, but still it conveys the message perfectly... we are never satisfied. Enjoyed reading this!

See, just proves our "wants" never satisfy our "needs". Needing is more satisfying than wanting because wanting leads to being unfulfilled. On the other hand, by merely only having what you need, you really won't want for much - and through your words, I can see you have figured that out already. I like the fact you show your imperfection and vulnerability by admitting a fault you possess. Well done, I like this style of writing from you for a change!
