anxiety and other monsters under my bed

anxiety and other monsters under my bed

A Poem by Abigail Ketchem
"

this was based on an experience that one of my friends had dealing with anxiety, which i also suffer from.

"

anxiety and other monsters under my bed

sweaty palms and

pounding head and

“It’s over, move on”

hyperventilation

late nights and

cold feet-

feet that have become

so frozen that

i don’t think i can go

to that wedding tomorrow

“medicate”

i am told to

medicate

so i do

but

my feet are still frozen

i just can’t feel them any longer

-a.k.

Always like when people say you have to medicate.
Sort of advice when jumping out of a plane. Always use a parachute.
Though if they said to you. Try and make yourself anxious, breathe in and out till you're more relaxed.
Oh, that's a good idea. Great write.
