What A Good Wife Should Do

A 2007 poem with a sequel

 

A woman is to man, a gift received from God,

But there’s a difference between the two, and it’s very odd,

The woman looks for macho, the hunk, and the style,

The hair and the mussels, the looks and the smile.

The man, on the other hand, looks for the Sweet,

He wants to hold and cuddle, he wants to be complete,

He needs the companionship, the love, and devotion,

He likes to feel, like it’s, poetry in motion.

Now how to get these two, put tight together,

And still maintain a love, as light as a feather.

Both need to see, from one another’s eyes,

That way, you can know, long before the cries.

It’s harder for the woman to settle with the man,

Because, it’s harder for the man to really understand,

So a wife should remain in silence, and this is nothing new,

Just love your man and God, is what a wife should do!
