Some Say

(Intro)
Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some say I'm being too risky
I say, OK, say what you say
Say what you say, but I'm happy this way

(Verse 1)
Some people say I act kind of funny
Some people say I'm as sweet as honey
Some people must think I'm some kind of dummy
If they don't think I hear what they say
Calling me names
Then smiling in my face

(Hook)
Just because I'm not like you doesn't mean what I am is wrong
I'm educated, motivated, talented, and strong
Juts because you're not like me does not make you the s**t
You have no promise, you're not too honest, and not very legit

(Chorus)
Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some say I'm being too risky
I say, OK, say what you say
Say what you say, but I'm happy this way

Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some hate my characteristics
I say, OK, say what you say
Say what you say, but I'm never gonna change

(Verse 2)
Some people love me cause my person is stunning
Some people hate me cause I'm too damn cunning
Some people think that it's still just fun and games
Jesting calling me names
Boo you must be insane
Or have you no shame

(Hook)
Just because I'm not like you doesn't mean what I am is wrong
I'm educated, motivated, talented, and strong
Just because you're not like me does not make you the s**t
You have no promise, you're not too honest, and not very legit

(Chorus)
Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some say I'm being too risky
I say, OK, say what you say
Say what you say, but I'm happy this way

Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some hate my characteristics
I say, OK, say what you say
Say what you say, but I'm never gonna change

(Bridge)
If I'm living life, happy with myself
Why is that not enough for everyone else
If I'm content with me and life as it is
Why don't the people in my life just let me live

(Verse 3)
Most people know I'm sincerely caring
Most people know I'm giving and sharing
But some people hate so they try to tare me down
Tell me since when how we act is who we are
I try to be myself and it takes me very far
My sexuality has never played a part
I don't need fixing, we are who we are

(Refrain)
Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some say I'm being too risky
I say, OK, say what you say
Say what you say, but I'm happy this way

Some say I'm too limp wrist-ed
Some say my walk is too twisted
Some hate my characteristics
I say, OK, say what you say
Head the other way, and have a nice day

I am a 20 year old artist. Writing is something I have always found interesting, and fun, however I did not take on the challenge until recently. I mostly write song lyrics, my mother is a lyricist, .. more..
