My Heart Is Falling Apart Seam By Seam

My Heart Is Falling Apart Seam By Seam

A Poem by Aekmy

Undress yourself and lay beside me.
Shed your worries away with me.
Baby, we're a candle burning bright,
and the hotter we burn tonight,
the deeper I want to see myself in your eyes.

We possess an unbreakable bond
of trust and lust that brings us closer
everyday. Like ripples in a pond
we slowly touch the outer edges of Kings,
bringing together the princes, peasants, and queens.

Your very being inspires me, rips apart my seams.
With each move you make, you cause me to want
you more. If I think about it for too long,
my heart makes a break; breath escapes
through the lips you love. I have to be strong.

Rake the skin from my ribs, tear it away.
Claw at my lunges and take my breath from me.
Hold my heart in your hands; let my love stay.
Stained in your skin is a map, a hidden key,
to the beginning of our existence; time is lost to the sea.

Can you feel the wind changing? Pocahontas
is singing to us, calling out our names.
The wind whispers in our ears, wipes away your tears.
Should you have a nightmare, a fear, I'll be here.

There is beauty is uniqueness. Embrace the strange or perish in the ordinary.
