Nothing

Made a wrong turn

Fell under the ruble

Couldnt dig my way out

Was stuck there

Thinking about what could have been

 

Its all so complicated

Im filled with so much hatred

Looking at the fake shadows

Done looking for you

And thats alright

 

Cant find the good

Tryed so hard to be somebody else

Now i cant figure out who i was

Im just stuck

In an endless vacum

 

Throwing words on a screen

Just randomly typing what comes to mind

Confused

Sick of pretending

Living a big fat lie

With nothing to look forward to

Just the good old days playing out

 

Cant help but feel

Like im nothing

Frustrated

Cant chase down all those demons

And im impatient

So might as well give up

 

Im the greatest disappointement in my life

Might as well be buried alive

Just the good ole days playing out...........I think that this line is key to this entire poem. I think we feel this way at certain points in our life as we grow older and our activities change, our bodies change, etc........Believe it or not, sometimes I look in the mirror and I feel the same way. You penned these feelings well.

You don't know how much i can relate to this feeling. Life is filled with 'what ifs' and i always find myself thinking that i could be a better person than what i am now if i made different choices. I'm trying to change that, tho. ^^

Wonderful and deep. I actually read this about 3 times because I enjoyed it so much. The last 2 lines are my favorite. You have this way of writing that kinda makes me feel like I'm inside your head at that moment. Maybe it's your casual style of writing.
