Alone

Behind the shallow waterfall there lies a deep cave, within it a small fire. An aching voice can be heard in the distance. The sound of shackles dances against the walls. Though there is light, darkness engulfs the place. One day, the waterfall ceases to exist and the cave plugs up as if a creature coming out of its shell. Now shallow and unnoticeable, the cave joins the rocks and grains of sand around it as its memory passes through them till the day they disappear as well.
