The moon is weeping, the moon is blue. But lets just accept the fact that amidst of all the glooms, it is standing still, yet so beautiful, enlightening the world with its glow.
In the same way, lets just be strong enough to wipe our own tears and be our own sunshine.

The color blue is cold, reflecting the moon's mood; therefore the weeping; Autumn can be cruel, especially when there is a pandemic amongst us; I like the way you fit that in the stanza. I also like the way you describe cocked bullets; very prevalent in our society. Thus the reason the moon weeps.

I wrote a blue moon poem, overly hopeful, capitalizing on the "blue wave" many of us had hoped for, pre-election. But now our current scene has been dragged thru the swamp, emerging so dreary & ugly & frustrating, I am quite sure your blue moon poem is the more accurate depiction of how this whole blue wave sorta crashed.
