"

Abigails friend Marcus is duing from a tumor in his brain and from that he gets amnesia. Now Abigail must do everything in her power toget him to remember her before he dies.

"
Abigail Storm was a girl full of life, love and happiness. She smiled at the clouds, the grass and anything that she past. Now, Abigail is a sad, bitter teenager all because he may not remember. He is her best friend, the page to her book, the smile to her face but now he's a lost friend and that page had been torn. He is named Marcus Greene.
Marcus was the quiet yet full of life child that, once you got to know him, seemed to make you laugh at everything. Marcus and Abigail became best friends in year three when the rude little rat James Colvin decided to push her in the mud and Marcus came and helped her to the nurses office. So, from the begining Marcus had been Abigails hero.

It's the middle of summer and Abigail is, yet again, sitting on the faded blue beach chair on the front padio of her house in Queensland, Australia. She sheded a tear as her thoughts swirled around the thought of Marcus. Marcus had turned from the best friend to a stranger in the blink of an eye. Do you want to know why?
It was the middle of year nine (they are now in year ten) when Marcus came over Abigail's house in the afternoon after school. "Abi, Abi you home?". He called out the front, of course the first thing i did was run to the front door to greet the best person in the world. "Marcus! what are you doing here?". she laughed, she was surprised since Marcus had been of schoolfor almost a month and hadn't seen her for almost the same amount of time. Marcus's face was paler then ever and he seemed weak. They both sat down on the freshly mowed green grass. "Abi, i- i don't know how to tell you this". He seemed sad. Abigail began to get worried, "Your not moving are you?". She felt sad. "No, i, er, Abi, the doctors examined that headache i was having". He paused for a breath. "Oh, hope that's better, they really hurt". Abigail smiled, feeling reasured that he wasn't moving away like she thought he was. "Abi, they,uh, they found a tumor around my brain. They,er, they can't stop it because it's already spread to much".
Abigail tried to understand these words that were coming out of Marcus's mouth but the sudden pain she was feeling over powered her hearing. She could feel the tears flowing down her cheek and felt Marcus's arm around her shoulder. "Abi, i, er, have to get back home soon because we have to get to the hospital for a check up. I wanted to tell you in person and ask if you could come to the appointment with me since, you know"- HE started chocking on tears- "Abi, im realy scared". She knew that she had to be strong for him but she didn't know how. "Of course i will". she cried. They sat there for a moment and just cried until Marcus had to go home.

Abigail told her parents and just like them, they were in tears but allowed Abigail to escort Marcu to the hospital for his check up.
The hospital seemed a bit more deadly now that some one close to her was going to die. They followed the doctor into the room. "Hello Marcus, Mrs Greene and, i'm guessing, Marcus's friend. I have examined the progress of the treatment for Marcus's,er, condition and i'm sad to say we have bad news. He isn't responding to the treatment like we hoped which means that we can't slow down or help the progress of the tumor in any way". Mrs Greene was sobbing, Marcus wouldn't talk and Abigail couldn't even look at them. "I'd like to keep Marcus in here because some of the things that he might face are alot easier to be dealt with under our supervision". Mrs Greene looked up, "Like what?". She sobbed loudly. "Like amnesia, fainting, vomiting"- He stopped because he knew that Mrs Greene couldn't take it any longer. She nodded her head and the doctor got Marcus into a room fifteen minutes after.

Sadley Abigail wasn't allowed to stay over night with Marcus so she stayed up all night crying her eyes out. Her friend was dying and about to forget his best friend and there was nothing abigail could do or was there?

Anyway, that's how Abigail ended up here, crying on a faded blue beac chair on the front padio. But now,a fetr reliving that memory, she knew what she must do, before Marcus leaves her she must get him to remember/ remember his best friend.

thankyou for your reveiw. It means alot and yes it would be a good idea for someone to preveiw it first. I didn't realise my mistake but i'll try to keep it in second person format. I hope you enjoyed it otherwise and read the other chapters when i have published them. Thankyou.

Good start to the book, but a few things you should check. A good thing to do is to check your story before you publish it or have a friend edit it for you. And there was one line where you used first person when you said "of course the first thing I did was run to the front door to greet the best person in the world." if the rest of your story isnt in first person, try to keep that out. Or convert the story to first person and make the character resemble you more closely or a person you know.
