I look out my window to see a star

A sonnet i had to write for english class. ITs in the ababcdcdefefgg rhyming pattern. It really sucks but i thought id post it anyway. :)

I look out my window to see a star

Gleaming so brightly across the vast sky.

They are both magnificent and bizarre,

One thing I know, on them I can rely.

Each one is unique and special alone,

But together they are just so much more.

The stars are made of our dreams still unknown,

Greater than anything you find in a store.

I look upon the stars and smile to myself

Knowing they will always follow my lead.

They make their own shapes each on its own shelf,

Telling me the answers for what I need.

The stars will always be up in the night

When I look out my window with delight.
