Time

Time

A Poem by Alice Allen

Time creeps up on you when you least expect it
It took quite some time and enough of your quick wit
for me to realise you were my four leaf clover
It's too late for me to regret that it is over

Before, you kissed my eyelids and I shrugged my shoulders
I didn't realise that you were my boulder
You were true to me but love was lost
through my ways and the coyness that cost

Time flies when you're having fun. I hate when you're on holiday and next thing you know you're packing and leaving! :O Haha, this was lovely and so true.
