Shadow Hands

Shadow Hands

A Poem by Alisa Js

behind the shadow there is a soul
playing quietly as not to droll
mystical, melancholy letting of tunes,
fingers stray
linger in the ether

where to turn when all roads stop
short of disaster, sure and drop
to my knees
I shall never know
the one who loves forevermore

this dream I had
the life I wished for,
desired beyond control
and most of all
I did believe
in love and open doors

alas, my life has turned inside out
what was certain
now is not,
what was conjecture
has come to pass

the song continues
strum along...

Hello Jacob,

At the end of the day, it all boils down to perspective. And on a particular day, I was in a very dark place, emotionally speaking...

...which inspired this piece.

All in all, it is good to be alive. Everyday is a present... a gift...

to enjoy to it's fullest as life is made up of such moments.

Thanks again for your time.

life just sometimes turns out opposite of what we thought it would...
and nothing is certain except that the "song continues/" so we "strum along."

forevermore.
