Tornadoes 💫 and Trumpets🎉

Tornadoes 💫 and Trumpets🎉

A Poem by Alisa Js

how many of us really stop to consider
the dysfunctional rays of those around us?
orbiting satellites
left to simmer and sweep for years on end
it's a wonder we're still alive
a miracle we still have our right mind
or something close to it that we think still fits tight
I seem to remember a time before time
looking forward, believing
if we continued to press toward
so certain I was that we would find them
in that large city, dreams that lay waiting

you're looking at me through different eyes
why now?
everything's changed
nothing's the same
that certainty left with those southerly winds
while the noise on the left side grew quiet
as the chatter increased
two-fold
I heard a distant weather report on the AM dial
something about tornadoes and trumpets on the run...

~~ a very interesting piece, dear alisa... ~~ i personally think that there are far more insane things around us (and maybe in us too) than we care to admit... ~~ and sometimes when i think about myself seriously, i actually wonder if i should be in a loony bin... :P
