Indescribable

Indescribable

A Poem by Alisa Js

let me slip in between your night shade
next to your tomorrows
after our yesterdays have left
and together,
we will roll up against our next sun
before it sets,
and darkness begins

let's not waste another second
it's been seasons of longing
vessels of doom,
and I am tired of driving alone

can we imagine the flicker
the flame,
is there an ember left to discover?

or have we run out of options and highways
fading next to
the sighing window...

-- wow... i've missed reading you and the way you explore the many dimensions of a thought/context/relationship... without being opaque or abstruse... and i've missed your earnest writing voice as well... -- this symphony of yours eloquently asks all the right questions, urges the reader to reflect about what they might have in their lives... -- if it's precious, as you say, "let's not waste another second"... very insightful stuff... -- just reading this post helped me comprehend some of the major changes in my life...
