what secrets lie beneath your blue
as curious winds blow, scraping our toes along the sand we walk, thoughts to ourselves it was sometime in the summer of my fourteenth year the last time I remember we sat at the counter of some dingy airport cafe your face, I can't recall as I was just sitting there, stunned and surprised your eyes, they were sad as you looked straight ahead mixed with regret, perhaps memories, maybe every daughter needs direction guidance and love, sweet words of wisdom I had none this emptiness prevails sorrow overwhelms on a good day, and I? press my way toward parts unknown and ill prepared for...
