Witness

the effect of poetry

After Witnessing “Eye of the Needle”

she moved in midair

the gesticulations of her body

caused a spiral intonation

grace could be said only in the eye’s view

even an idiot could be awed

the poet though would melt into his awe

carried somewhere only his soul knows.

Thanks FT! I am really in love with our poetic relationship. I think of you as a "great Friend"!

A great write in response to that poetic voice that lingers long after we've been inspired by the words of another. I love the dizzying movement in the first stanza and was completely drawn into the second... a poet, melting in awe I am!
