Living in a Stare

Travels to Nowhere
I am of Stare
A blink here
A blink there
While all along
I live in nowhere
How long a Stare can be
Is somewhere inside of me
Excuse me while I reach for more
Perhaps.......maybe you want to
rescue me
But watch out if you come along
The Stare can lure you into infinity's charm.

Thanks Margie!

These are moments where, sometimes, wonder is born.

I know this feeling well, but I admire you for putting it into words so well! Your sparse descriptive phrasing resembles the very state you're depicting. That's very creative (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thanks Lydia!

In this case I didn't want to leave the Stare. It happened yesterday by auto pilot.

People watching is a wonderful "sport", but I think this is not what you had in mind here. People who feel lost...not certain of which way to go or how to get there. Some people can not be rescued...perhaps they really don't want to be. Your poetry always makes me think, Al. Well written. Lydi**
