"There Was A Time"

Sometimes memories can make you lose what you still have...

You walked away, you left me here

You only left the memories with me

You are gone with no explanation

I’m trying to understand but I’m out of my mind

 

With the time passing by I discover I no longer make any sense

This life I have now doesn’t mean a thing
 when I lost what meant everything to me

 

But why the sadness in my heart

When you’re here for me to ease my pain

And why complaining about this life

When I’m sharing all the fun with you

And why feeling down all the time

When I have your support days and nights

But all of these beautiful words now start with

There was a time

 

My life has lost the hopes and dreams

Cause you were the life I hoped and dreamed

And now I’m all alone in a prison full of memories

They’re haunting me down causing the tears

 

With the time passing by I discover I even lost all my friends

This life I have now can’t get any worse
I should probably kill myself and get relieved from the pain
