SEASONS

SEASONS

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Colours by day
Black and white by night.
Four seasons of difference
Who show their significance
By changing colours, but not of night
Which remains black and white.

Hi Andrew, This one has me a little flummoxed. I get what you are saying about the seasons and night staying black and white, but to me, and this is only my opinion, there is something missing. Have no idea what, is just seems . . . unfinished?? maybe you couldn't quite get on paper the depth of your thought in this one. I'd be interested to hear your comments, alf

I really like this one. I really like the flow. And I'm really drawn to anything that has to do with black and white or colors. :D

How true, and I will be so glad when this white snow heads down your way. Valentine

Excellent writing , has a Shel Silverstein feel to it, very fluid.

I like the poem. Simple and true logic. I liked it. Your words and ending is true.
