The fragility of being on WC

The fragility of being on WC

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Some friendships on WC
are solely chalk lines
easily blown away
by whispers,
while others
hold the brush.

Oh well!

Never trust social media. Even on WC. There are people we've known for years here...those I trust.
I don't know what lead to this writing, being I'm hardly on as much. but I hope it wasn't too severe.

Hi Tim, just an observation after being here for several years now. Thanks for dropping by and yes w.. read more
I agree wholeheartedly; I see the real self of some people here.
No conscience, no empathy, biased for one side, hate-filled for some ethnicities and religions, self-centered where they think the world revolves around them if not the universe. Lol
I hope you did not open up a can of worms instead of a can of soup.

Hehehe. Sounds good. You are welcome sir Andrew.
Your words are a light in a way, showing the differences between one person and another;
how thoughts can rule and crumble both common decency and common sense. Added to that, more often or not good people can be made to feel guilty - and hurt. Yes, chalk lines.. insignificant but easy to repeat.. over and over again.

Thank you em for your words.
yes, fragile...sometimes because of ego or sometimes lack of it.

And sometimes because friendships are only as deep as the shallow screen that binds them.

I think you are right Jacob when you say” as deep as the shallow screen that binds them.
