What a Darn thing to do!

What a Darn thing to do!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What a darn thing to do?
Welcome new members!
Please! Please!
Settle down!
I mourn for each and everyone of you.
We are all here because
of lost loved ones, partners for life.
Now gone missing,
leaving no trace.
Please pull yourselves together,
don't bunch up.
Would anyone like to start the meeting?
"Yes!" said blue on white.
"The last thing I remember
was thrown in the clothes dryer
with strangers and now my partner
has disappeared"
Socks without Partners.

one of the great mysteries of the universe...
... i often wonder about the secret lives of clothes pins; much like socks they tend to disappear between each laundry day
much enjoyed this with my morning coffee. cheers for a fun read
