Across the party floor.

Across the party floor.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Across the party floor.
Shelved the kiss
that missed afar,
blown by music,
the recipient no wiser,
the intruder all smiles.
Not surprisingly, he thinks
she's mine for sure.
Little does he know
of signals sent blind.
Across the party floor!
