The etched tree of life.

The etched tree of life.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The etched tree of life.
Was not the good times
of love-making
washed away
in a torrent of anger
only to be restored
in calmer waters,
laid down in memories
etched forever.

Honest and true words. Bad days become less painful with time and separation. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are too kind. Jamestown>:)
the rings around that tree show its age...some rings a little crooked, some perfectly formed...but they all add up to the tree's life...and parallel our lives.
