Love's antidote.

Love's antidote.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Love's antidote
was not to
fall in love
at all.

How can one miss
when what is written in the stars
and  the path of cupid's arrow
had no target at all.

Sorry! But yes!
You are not included,
go back to the end of the queue.

'I shot an arrow into the air..' and a thought hung around.. at the end of the queue? Who woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.. or is it evening?

Serious business behind your words, briefly erudite as ever.
