The upgrade of a nude model.

The upgrade of a nude model.

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

Fictional

"
The durability of the upgrade
in your exposure
depended on the number
of eyes upon you,
and as less meant more,
seeing you fully clothed
leaving the exit
I nearly didn’t recognise you.

That is art in itself. Thank you Stella
You say fictional but I've got to tell you there is nothing less erotic than life drawing. It is overt whereas suggested is far more sexy. Having said that this is a fine apiece of witticism as I've seen Andrew.
(And I have been a model for the women's institute back in the day) Of course this is not all about nudity is it?

Distractions often make it difficult to recall the full essence. It is hard to appreciate the music when the jack hammer is running. Very nicely worded and a true piece of wisdom

At first i thought this was autobiographical, relating your hidden life as a nude model going on the title! The truth in the words contained within the poem are indeed impressive.

We live in such a fabricated society that when someone reveals their true, fully dressed looks and personality we indeed do have trouble recognising them. This is especially so in this online world, where truth and fiction collide with crazy regularity.

I enjoyed the wisdom and straightforward views in this write. Good to see you are still here and still writing these little gems. Though we all await your confession of a nude modelling past!

aint it the truth Andrew! i have been away from the cafe for a bit but your poem reminds me why i love it here...unique take on nudity in these very naked modern times ... poignant in the points you make ... when nakedness is all about sexuality blaring to induce something meant to be special (in my mind anyway) ... with clothes on a person may seem quite hollow ;( if we keep our nakedness for "special" occasions it remains "special" ... and then there are nudists ... who i admire for their genuine attitudes ... reminds me of Lenny Bruce as well ... a fiery, be real poet from that wonderful "beat generation" ... another fine nugget of humor and wisdom from the halls of Andrew :) nice read for me ...made me think ;)

Made me smile... Mmm I always enjoying finding what's underneath that physical creation.... but what's wrong in appreciation of a good creation...
We are blessed with eyes to appreciate .. ;)

Indeed we are! Thanks for reading.
the mystery and mystique of a woman does not depend whether she is nude or not... it is always the substance that counts.. body is just a material thing

Occupational anomaly - where do the punter's eyes alight first - before the reality of noticing - there is a real person behind the smile! Very thought provoking write my friend … :-)
