In a  town called Pasta.

In a town called Pasta.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The feud between the Linguine
and Fettuccine clan started when
Angel hair came into town.
Besotted by her texture so smooth,
Fusilli noted she was cooked al dente.

But when Lasagne was found dead
on the floor of the kitchen by Tagliatelle;
a posse of Macaroni shells blamed Rigatoni
who sided with Fettuccine.
Later, he was found hung with the garlic.

Linguine in outrage hired the top gunslingers:
Penne, Vermicelli, Tortellini, Pappardelle,
Cannelloni, Ravioli, and Orzo
- the Magnificent Pasta Seven.

The battle was fought and won
and while the seven became five
losing Penne and Orzo,
victory was restored in the cleanup;
tomato sauce and paste were everywhere.

Meanwhile, Parmesan, a drifter looked on with Seasonings.
As for Angel hair, she fell for the Cook.
After all, it was just another
Spaghetti Western.

ahahaha such a fine chuckle ...i see you in the kitchen ...white apron full of flour and sauce spots ..singing Figaro ... waving your wooden spoon like Mickey in Fantasia ... aieyiyi!
reminds me of Romeo and Juliet too ... leave it to Linguine to hire the heat as Angel runs off with the cook ... she's so fine ... i wanted her to be mine :(

OMG, Andrew! This is definitely one for my library. You have more than a few great lines here, and the laughs are simply hysterical. From now on, I will forever think of this poem whenever I eat anything with tomato sauce. Much applause, my spaghetti friend! ; )

Totally gobsmacked by this lipsmacking and finger-biting melange of western and the culinary. You are amazingly talented Andrew, take a bow and cook us a mean pasta!

Aren't you a tease? Creepy pasta.
Andrew dear... the Tower of Pizza is falling for you... swaying to your overtures. Having a history of being a vegetarian... I know these characters by heart, body and soul. You could rewrite the history of Pasta... and I believe you just did. A best seller in my book. truly, Pat
