The dangling conversation

The dangling conversation

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The dangling conversation
went like this
I lost my thoughts
and you caught them.
While in speaking of things
that matter I gathered
all your loose ends
a patchwork of our lives.
However, the last conversation
had me dangling on your words
until you cut your line.
