Every Detail

Every Detail

A Poem by Amber Dawn Agin
"

I've gone over everything in my head a thousand times over

"
I've played over every detail:
every moment, good or bad
every memory
every "I love you"
every promise
every kiss
every fight
every problem
everything I never got to tell you
every hurtful word I too easily let spill
everything I did wrong
everything I did right

I've gone through it
over and over and over
racking my brain to find the answers
that you never gave to me
to find the meaning
that I'm sure isn't there
to find the closure
I know I'll never have

I've thought about every single detail
while you have erased me from your life
from your memories
and from your heart

It is so sad when a relation or friendship comes to an end. We keep on thinking why but fail to find any answer.
Very nicely penned.
