The Dreamer

I had a dream last night

a dream unlike any other

I was happy beyond anything else

A smile, hard to miss

With all the tender love and care

that everyone searchers for, upon me

I thought it was you in my dream

I saw no face, no hair

I saw absolutely nothing about you

Yet, I hoped it to be you

Hoped you were the answer

to the tiny little prayers

the ones I wished for long ago

but it wasn't you

you don't hold me like the dreamer

the dreamer, he never spoke

but he cared more than you ever could

and it maybe strange

but since this dreamer is out there

I am letting you go

because I intend to find him

for though he is a dreamer

and I don't know where to find him

he is the answer to my prayers

he is my dream come true

It is amazing that dreams can lead us to things we could never have before imagined for ourselves and our futures. It is, odd, sometimes how things are so similar and yet different in dreamds. I know how it feels to dream of perfection -- I hope you find it someday.
