A Poem by ambur

The walls are whispering in the background;
A horrific scream pelts the air with tension.
Her pretty face is speaking now--
"This is for you, you're only a boy."

A velvet sky painted over in gray;
It suddenly matching the hurt inside.
Her pretty face is at it again--
"You're a master of hurt, you and your words."

A filthy hand of forty-two pollutes the air;
Marks are forever, baby, and you left yours.
Her pretty face is quiet now--
"Thanks for the memory, a silent reminder."

I really like this piece, I love the use of repetition with "her pretty face" it really added something to the poem, very powerful... great Job!
