Ah, you say boredom--I say theft.A Poem by amburJust another poem I wrote in the mists of busniness at Starbucks.I have robbed boredom of every thing it has; And I've taunted careless yawns at once. I'd like to think I've won this round, but Alas, the sun has me always beat. I long to sit with my competition, And ask it how it breathes so well, Or even how it converses too. . . We'd write pages and pages of sincere Lore, and ask the passerby to join the fun. But instead I have only this tale to show-- I have robbed boredom of every thing it has And I've taunted careless thoughts with yawns.
